Yorkshire greats from the fields of show business, sport and the arts were honoured in a glittering ceremony at the YTV studios in Leeds. The Yorkshire Awards, now in its 16th year involve some of the county's leading companies and individuals such as Barry Cryer, Jane Tomlinson and Lord Kirkham.
Martyn Duffield was awarded Yorkshire Unsung Hero following a series of television programmes involving hundreds of chosen voluntary workers within Yorkshire and a subsequent "phone in" vote, Martyn's 15 years of work for Lineham Farm Children's Centre as a founder trustee was recognised with this award.
