Enviromental Policy Statement
Duffield Printers commitment to the local community and environmental responsibility has been established with sincere intent since 1996 when we became the first SME in the country to attain environmental accreditation.
We fully understand our serious obligation to conduct business in a manner that minimizes all issues of negative impact. Locally we have actively supported our charity, Lineham Farm Children’s Centre for over 15 years now, we have developed school links and support many other local causes in any way we can. Environmentally we positively maintain the eco-structure of our river bank and watch with care the wildlife it supports. Significantly Duffield have adopted 20 acres of woodland at Lineham Farm and over the next 10 years we are converting the coniferous forest to natural British broadleaf with qualified and dedicated forestry specialists.
Policy
Duffield Printers will perform all operational activities to minimize all issues of negative impact in a manner that balances with cost effectiveness and consideration of the views of – Community – Customers – Employees – Suppliers – Regulatory Bodies and any other interested parties.
We will manage our business to meet the requirements of legislative and regulatory bodies – e.g. FSC. (Forestry Stewardship Council), and the PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes).

- Minimize raw material use, waste and emissions through careful design, contract specification and process control
- Assess suppliers' environmental performance
- Monitor and minimize energy consumption
- Continue landscape and architectural improvements and good practices

Commitment
Martyn Duffield shares the responsibility for environmental management with all employees who all have a responsibility to continually improve our environmental performance and we will periodically review our policy.
